Week 3 Crocodile Problem by Szymon

One day Professor Paul Paddington was creating a liquid. His pet crocodile hit the glass with the liquid and it spilled. He slowly but steadily drank the liquid. This all happened the one minute when the professor was not in his laboratory.

When he came back he saw that the crocodile started to twist. He twisted for 10 seconds and then began to grow. He escaped from the laboratory. The professor called the army. After a difficult and aggressive fight the crocodile was captured and shrunk back to normal size.

The professor had to pay for all the destruction and say sorry to the people that had their houses destroyed.

  1. Hello Syzmon,

Being interested in science, I enjoyed reading your story about an experiment with unexpected results. Sometimes unexpected results in experiments can be good. For the Professor, he might have had to pay for the damage and say he was sorry but, perhaps, there might be good uses for a liquid that can make things grow. The Professor might end up a very rich man. Well done.

You were able to use four of the words very effectively in your well written story. I suspect you have many more stories to share so I hope you can continue entering the 100WC. Good writers should share their adventures.

  2. Good heavens Szymon!!! So many accidents in labs – I think I will avoid going near one in case anything like this were to happen! I’m glad that the crocodile was shrunk back to its’ normal size. And I suppose it’s only fair that the professor had to pay for all the damage. You’ve written a terrific story here – keep up the super work!

  5. What an exciting read. I like the way you named your characters. It was unfortunate that he had a big bill at the end of the day. Looking forward to more stories from you.
