Week 34 Wonder World By Szymon

“Where am I” ? I whispered.
I was in a place where everything looked different. The water in the river was like lemonade and the fish were like gummies. I was hungry and thirsty so I ate the fish and drank the pink lemonade.
I crossed over a bridge that was over the river. It started raining but it was more like someone had sprinkled marshmallows over me. I hid under a huge daffodil.  I loved this place but I didn’t stay for a long time…
Suddenly I heard a bell ring and I woke up. It was all a dream. I was sad when I woke up.

  1. hi szymon
I like it when you talked about the gummy fish and the pink lemonade. What country was this magical cave (in Ireland). Are you excited to move up to your next year? Your story was very good maybe you could explain more about the huge daffodil
    Great work

  2. Hi Szymon
I agree with Avril that you have used the prompt words in a really imaginative way. You managed to create a sense of calm and peace with your word choices and descriptions that was very cleverly done, it was just such a shame that it was just a dream. I also liked your opening sentence, starting with a question is always a great idea.

  3. Hi Szymon, What a wonderful way to use the five prompt words. This is exactly the kind of dream I’d love to have. Daffodils were my mother’s favourite flower so your story made me think of her which is always a lovely thought.
