Yesterday we were at the museum. My sister saw something shiny and went over to look at it. Suddenly it disappeared.
“But where did it go?”she shouted.
I ran over and told her to be a little quieter.
“Where did the ruby go?” she asked.
“I don’t know” I replied.
She was very worried and annoyed.
“We lost our class we need to find them” I told her
We found them just before they left , we were 7 minutes away from being left there. Before we got on the bus home we had a look and the ruby was there.
“They probably just cleaned it” I whispered.
What an interesting way to shift your story Adam. Although you brought the mystery to a close at the end, I think you’ve left the possibility that there might be more to this than meets the eye! ‘Suddenly’ and ‘disappeared’ seem to suggest something a little out of the ordinary and more investigating to do perhaps? I like how you set out the story as a dialogue – this isn’t easy and you made a great job of it.
Well done and keep rising to the Challenge.
Hi Adam – you’ve written a great story here. Full of suspense the whole way through. I wonder if somebody actually stole it or if it was just taken away to be cleaned? Well done and keep up the great work!
